Jo Cromwell - Arborfield Green Manager at Stables Coffee Co.

Jo joined Stables Coffee Co. in May 2025, bringing with her a wonderfully varied background and a genuine love of people, community and, of course, coffee.

Before joining the Stables team, Jo spent two winter seasons working as an Assistant Manager at a ski hotel in France. Her career has also taken her into the world of music, where she worked as a guitar tutor, as well as administration for a church. Safe to say, she’s dabbled in a few different things before finding her home at Stables!

These days, Jo is at the heart of the Arborfield Green café, where her favourite part of the job is the people. She loves the coffee, but it’s the wonderful customers and team that make working at Stables so special.

When it comes to her own coffee order, there’s no question: a flat white, whatever the weather. And while it’s a very close call between the Great Ocean and Bondi blends, Great Ocean just clinches her favourite Stables blend.

Jo is firmly on team pastries, with an almond croissant being a particular favourite, although she admits she’s also a sucker for a millionaire shortbread!

When she’s not in GM mode, you’ll usually find Jo keeping busy. She spends plenty of time walking her two Springer Spaniels, heading to the gym, playing football or enjoying time with her partner.

With a passion for people, a love of coffee and plenty of energy, Jo is a big part of what makes Stables Coffee Co. Arborfield Green the welcoming place it is today.
